I have NEVER been so pissed off at a Magazine in my life.I have been a reader of "Hot Bike" Magazine, and "Baggers" magazine, for several years. I have subscribed directly, and recently got a call to renew my Hot Bike subscription. After agreeing to renew I received and paid my bill ($29.00 for what I thought was a multi year deal). I later got calls stating I failed to pay. When I questioned it the caller said $29.00 was the first installment so I paid another $29.00! I am now receiving calls, daily, claiming I owe another installment of $29.00! I told the caller to cancel my subscription and they refused! I found out that the subscription was handled through Global Readers Services. A bit of internet research has revealed thousands of complaints against this company. As of this date I have paid $59.90, received 4 months of the subscription, and they won't cancel. I am receiving collection notices for the remaining $29.95. Based on the complaints I have read, on line, even if I pay they will keep billing and harassing me. Global Readers Services' poor business practices reflect negatively on your magazine and company. I know this isn't your problem, but your intervention would be appreciated. If I can not get this resolved I will blast Global Readers Services, and Hot Bike Magazine, all over Facebook, My Space, and every other net based services I can find. Thanks.
