Ideas on customizing a 2000 HD Road Glide?

I was just GIVEN (yep, GIVEN) a 2000 HD Road Glide. Its a great ride but just has too much clutter for the kind of rider I am. I'd like to know where I can find ideas/possibilites for "cleaning up" the look of the bike without too many modifications... like taking off the saddle bags, removing the fairing, maybe changing the hanldebars etc. are these things possible without major modifications?
