Sporsters are for girls?

Hey brother: Sorry so late on this topic.But I just stumbled across an issue of Hot Bike my dad had laying around dated 3-10. Well I came across your article on sportsters are for Girls? What, was my first thought then I started reading and I’ve got to tell ya I’ve got your back Brother.My First Harley was a 1985 XLS Roadster I love that bike. It is fun to ride, handles great and looks sharp too. Not to mention the engine, It carries a 1000cc 62 hp and will get up and go. My cousin gave me bull about having a sporty called it a girls bike, he road a 750 honda shadow Whats up with that. LIVE TO RIDE RIDE TO LIVE. PS I still have my sporty along with a nite train soft tail they make a good couple!  

Now there you go sounding just like your cousin. The proper frame of mind should be: If it has two wheels and handlebars, smells like gasoline and makes some sort of sound when you twist the right side grip then it is all good. Remember, it is us against them. Too many citizens hate us now so there is no room for hateing each other. The more that ride equals strength in numbers. Just get your face in the wind and enjoy the freedom we still have before it is gone. Life is just too short to sweat the little things that don't matter anyway.
