Rotary Powered Cruiser

Gentleman I am seeking advice or recommendations on the best transmission to use to bolt up to or match my RX7 engine, which I will be installing on my 2005 Honda shadow spirit. any advice or helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.  I know it is not impossible, because I have seen various rotary engines
used on both choppers and cafe racer style bikes as well as one dirt bike suggestions ??     I know one of the problems I will be facing is that Honda trannys and engines are usually an intragal part of each other. But I heard a rumor about some folks using a BMW trans to hook up to it, and understand there may have been an article someone did on this subject back in 2004. I sure could use all the advice and help I could get
