moving brain box on softail fatboy

computer brain on my 08 fatboy sets on top of the fender and the seat has a cut out so it sets right on top of the brain box and covers it as you bolt it to the fender. i would like to put a small tractor seat on springs and a custom fender  allong with side mount tail light etc.  but what to do with that uglly black box? i was looking at it and it doesnt seem to have any extra length electrical so,s it could be moved far. what do people do when they customize softails as far as moving that; meaning where do you move it to?
