Hi, I have a XLH1200 and I can't stop the fuel cap rattling, I have replaced it with a new one and it does exactly the same.
Does anyone know how to fix the problem

Vented fuel caps are for the most part a non-repairable item. Your best bet would be to use a different brand.
If worse comes to worst, the one-piece billet kind (no plastic threads) don't ratchet like the stocker, but they also won't rattle.
