Riding Characteristics of the VENOM 330-SERIES REAR TIRE

Have been searching the internet for answers on the wide tire riding characterisitics. I am looking into buying a bike with a 330 installed and knowing that is is not a switch back racer, is it still good enough to travel 400 miles, or run on the LA freeways during the week.
