my clutch is not disengaging ,hard shifting, cant find neutral easy. how do i adjust the clutch

better make sure carrier isnt broken, i have a 05 chopper thats had the same problem since new, bike surges with clutch in, hard to shift 3rd gear. my bike has had a new tranny under warranty with 3000 miles, it now has 5000 miles. last weekend went for a ride and clutch started acting up, worse than normal. put it on lift, and went to adjust clutch and clutch stuck in. took apart cable, push rod, cover for cable ect. didnt find anything. then pulled primary cover off and clutch basket loose inside. i think my carrier has been cracked since new and then finally broke. ripped center right out of carrier, nasty looking, good thing it didnt lock up.ill try to post picture. if i ever thought this was broke, i would of taken it apart years ago!!!!!!!!
