I've got an 09 96ci fatbob and I want make it louder. I asked if I could remove the baffles at the store and they said it would make it run like crap...So whats the dif with getting slip on that doesn't have baffles. Can I remove the baffles? I was reading a review for slip ons and they said they removed them on the stock.

The bikes pipes were designed to run with baffles and the modules fuel/air mixture is setup for the pipes with baffles, plus you'll lose low end grunt because you'll be losing back pressure. The slip-on baffles are designed differently and you still will need to add some type of power commander to remap you air/fuel mixture to get any benefit other then extra noise. Save more bucks and get a decent set of pipes with a PC of some brand or another and you'll notice a lot more difference and be a LOT MORE HAPPIER in the long run.
