Anybody going to Bike Week this year?
I'll be riding in from Orlando and staying the entire week at Daytona Bahama House, recommended by friend and have special for bike week, at $149/night http://daytonabahamahouse.com/.
This will be my 3rd year going and I expect it to be a great week, a full blown party week.

Stay tuned to the WyoTech YouTube Channel for the rest of our coverage of Daytona Bike Week 2010.
The annual WyoTech Brute Horsepower Shootout is a competition we hold each year at our Daytona campus during Daytona Bike Week. Contestants come from across the country to participate for ultimate bragging rights in a multiple-day competition. Riders in 16 different categories hook their motorcycles up to a dynamometer machine ("dyno" for short) at WyoTech-Daytona's campus for the opportunity to measure their bike's output for the right to be named Champion.
This year marks the 20th annual Horsepower Shootout and we've already had some great results. Click here for a PDF of results through Tuesday at 2pm.
Qualifying rounds are from 10am-4pm Monday March 1 through Thursday March 4 with the Championship rounds on Friday March 5. Entrance is free and there's still time to qualify for Friday's Championship! If you're at Bike Week and you want to compete, come to WyoTech-Daytona at 470 Destination Daytona Lane in Ormond Beach, Florida.

WyoTech at Daytona Bike Week 2010 - Sights and Sounds
Day 2 of our Daytona Bike Week 2010 coverage.
After listening to a couple of our WyoTech master technicians give a brief lecture on Motorcycle Preventative Maintenance, we headed over to the Horsepower Shootout to check out any Leaderboard changes. The last day of qualification for the 20th Annual WyoTech Brute Horsepower Shootout got us geared up for the championships on Friday! One of our Unlimited Import entries (a 94 Kawasaki ZX11) actually hit over 528 horsepower today! You can check out the results of the Qualification rounds here (PDF file).
While we were at the Dyno complex on the WyoTech-Daytona campus, a student named Mark let us sneak a peek at one of the student projects: a fully customized WyoTech quad that was completely built by the students. The quad went for a spin and tested its burnout capabilities before jumping on the dyno machine for a horsepower test.
In the afternoon, we cruised down to Destination Daytona and Main Street where the streets and sidewalks are wall-to-wall packed full of booths, biker enthusiasts and sweet-looking rides. Then we headed down to the Daytona International Speedway's Flat Track to watch some of the AMA Grand National Championship races. Sammy Halbert was crowned the Pro Flat Track champion in a tight race that saw a lot of position changes.
Make sure you catch our final podcast video where we'll wrap-up the 20th Annual Brute Horsepower Shootout and give you an inside look at the work that goes into getting vehicles ready for the Daytona 200.
