electrical issue on and old Shovel 75

HI i need some help .... i totally lost with bike electical issue... here my problem
i got and 1975 FXe ... im on my way to rebuilt electical because some fire happen on the bike.
i got and electronic Compufire module, that arrive with two wire one black and one red... where that goes n the coil now exactly i dont know... look like i got no spark ...the bike run but did't start???
How can i investigate ?
Also i got a pink wire came from the Tach. and should go to the the voltage reg....that on the original electrical plan....as per the compufire module i can plug my tach to there but i dont se any place...
sorry geese im lost. a poor french Canadian guy...sorry for my english

hey, i'v went thru this mess before...email compufire and they will send you a new schematic good luck
