I just put a ultima 127 in my softail and i can get the temp down after haft hour of riding it gets to 250deg. have re-jet carb any help out there!!!!  

I also have a ultima 127, I have tried retarding the timing and running 60 wieght oil and it is still running hot. The oil brought it down to about 230 from 250. Can anyone help. The motor was just installed in a custom, I have only put about 45 mi on it and after a half hour I have to shut it down and let it cool off.  

Is any other Ultima 127 owers have the same problem. Engine running hot and engine rattling please post any information that can help  

I just got mine going and it seems to run hot. It vibrates alot. Ive only got 40 miles on it. Do these motors smooth out after break-in? If so when..
