I recently replaced the driver's side footboard on my 2005 Road King Custom and while doing so noticed a green wire with a yellow stripe had been disconnected. I called Harley and they told me it was a ground wire. I grounded the wire and since then the oil indicator light has been on. Could that wire have been to something else?

The oil pressure switch is located just forward of that floorboard. Think that might be the wire to the pressure switch. The switch itself is round, about the size of a quarter and the wire post is dead center.
