I purchased an Engine (80"EVO) already rebuilt and put together a whole bike Heritage Softail! My problem is the Sprocket Shaft oil seal is leaking! I have replaced it several times But it still leaks after the engine warms. I'm not talking about a drip or two! Its a flowing stream at idle. The Manual says to install the seal, spring facing out. I did it and it leaked. So I bought another seal and pulled the Primary, replaced the seal with the spring side facing in. And guess what It leaked. This thing is kicking my BUTT. I have also pulled the cam cover and made sure the Breather valve was in time and that all the markes on the gears lined up. I also diconected the oil lines from the filter and just hook them up from the pump. I have good flow from the pump back to the tank. And good flow from the feed of the pump. Nothing seams to be blocked. I also installed a aftermarket Oil Preasure Guage and when its running it read 45lbs I dont Know if thats good or bad? Help!
