BuckMe & BillyB are you two married or what?
The two of you sound like kids bickering. Is this what we can expect from your magazines?
If so, I'll stick with American Iron (the best!) and Thunder Press (it's free).

I found my first copy this week at Price Chopper. I'm planning on getting a Street Glide or possibly an Electra Glide Standard so this is the perfect magazine for me. I really enjoyed the magazine and read it cover to cover. My neighbor across the street has a Street Glide and I told him I would give my magazine to him and his wife tonight so they can look through it. He is like me and has been looking for a bagger magazine to subscribe to. I don't know about American Bagger since I've never seen it anywhere, but I like Hot Bike Bagger Magazine and plan to subscribe.

Is there a Barnes & Noble around your area? That is where I get my copy.

just got me subscription copy and am pretty disappointed. Not much to it. 2000 Street Glide was OK, lonely roads tour SUCKED, don't need a Yamaha in my Harey mag, even if it is a bagger, and the tech! give me a break - how to change the stock air filter. What nonsesne. where is the real tech?
if this keeps up i will cancel my subsription.

I'm on my third bike (second bagger ) and have to say, ANY magazine that supports our community is a blessing. Hot Bike has been publishing this now for less than a year AFAIK and it should only get better.
I could easily figure out how to change my own air filter (and in my mind, you probably shouldn't be riding if you can't), but that's just me. Probably some folks can't. I've never rebuilt a transmission but that doesn't stop me from toe-poppin' mine through it's gears (6 on my new FLHT - he heh ).
I could also probably doze through some of the tour articles as well, but it would honestly depend on the destination. A write-up on the Smokey Mountains would be a detailed read for me, just as a Grand Canyon or Black Hills might be for others.
Anyway, I think it's good enough to order a subscription. In the next couple years maybe I can even contribute... so can you!

Boy, that is a real cry for help when a so-called editor from a competing(?) magzine has to get on here and make a pitch to read his magazine (which no one can find on the newsstand). American Baggers and American Cycle magazine despite their intensely creative titles (yeah, right) sound more like crap created by advertising people instead of real editors.

Just copped a new Badlander seat from the stelership here. I really like the look with my Road King bags but as I'm sure some of you know, it's a lot harder on the rear. I'm also going to get a 4 or 6 inch smoked windscreen to keep the streamlind look going from front to back.
What have y'all done to your bikes?

I posted earlier about a question I had. The 1995 Dyna Convertible you had in a tech section in your Bagger Mag. had floor boards (being used to show extention installation). My wife would like floor boards on her bike (2006 Low Rider) I went to Harley parts counter and no listing of a Dyna with floor boards. The frame bosses look the same but where do i get the boards? Can you help?

We just added Hot Bike Baggers to our website at $19.97 for a year's subscription, which is 12 issues.
www.somanymags.com
and go to the automotive section H. Check back because we just received 10 - 15 new titles about bikes and automobiles and I'm in the process of adding them onto the website. My husband rides a Harley and he thought this magazine looked very interesting!

Subscribe to it. Great Mag for us bagger riders.
while I'm here does anyone have the web site for a new company making a mechanical cruise control.
I had the site but a crash disolved it into cyber space. It's lever opperated and made of stainless. I've got MD and am riding to HD's 105th but I think the 2K miles one way will be hard on my weak hands.
Help

I don't know how new they are, but I found something like what I think you're talking about at eGlide Goodies. It's not ss, it's aluminum.

I'm thinking about getting one myself.
