Has anyone gone from 96 inch to 110 inch using the harley big bore screaming eagle kit? I have been trying to decide if I should, but have talked to some people that tell me the increase in power is not worth the money.

I have not tried this kit my self but my information tells me that due to the head design of the twin cam motors, you don't really get your moneys worth out of just increasing the cubic inches. You need to put some work into the heads. Then also think about your intake system. It needs a flow increase also. I'm sure you've all ready replaced your exhaust system.

I've changed exhaust, race tuner, and intake. The bike still isn't what it needs to be.A buddy of mine just picked up a victory and I can't take his constant *** talking, gotta do something more to get more power. I know I could increase power easily but I'm trying to increase power and still retain the ability to ride all day without overheating and use pump gas.

I had the same dilemma. The problem with the 110" is that it is a fairly new set-up and, the people who have it are having a hard time keeping their bike running. If you check hdforum.com, they mostly recommend sticking with the 103", a good tuner and a set of pipes and you should be very excited and impressed with the mods. Oh by the way, I'm no authority on this subject, still undecided about which bike to get (RK or SG) but it's definetely going to a Bagger. Hope this was helpful.

Go to the hdforum.com and see what you get. I've failed to realized that you had changed the exh, intake and race tuner...

Go with a 103. If you really got to be bigger go with a 107cu. With the 110cu you have to bore the cases. Seems like theirs not enough meat for the orings to get a good seal. You can have yer present heads Ported and polished and your jugs bored to the size build you want. Match yer head job to your compression of the build you do. I'd try to stay under a 10.1 on the 103. The Thundermax is a great tuner to go with. Also pay attention to the kind of exaust you put on the bike. Exaust plays a big role on how the bike tunes and performs. I had a 96 to 103 mild build from my builder. I had 92hp and 103 tq. My buddy went with the 107 build from the same builder. He had 115hp and 126tq. The 103 is a lot cheaper to go with and has great power if done right.
