I love the look of the Harley Softail Deluxe and am considering purchasing it for my next bike.
I'm female, 5'3 (on a good day) about 130lbs. I ride a Honda Shadow Aero, 750, now, which is about 150 lbs lighter than the Deluxe.
Any women out there who ride one of these that are about my size? Any men that have wifes or girlfriends that ride one and can comment on how manageable this bike is for me?

Pandora,
My wife just got rid of her Shadow Aero. She is 5'0". She loves it. It is more heavy. How long have you been riding the Shadow? If you are experienced you should have no trouble. We did have to lower the Deluxe some to make it comfortable.

I am 5'1" and too had an Aero 750. I bought my Softail Deluxe last March and LOVE IT! The Deluxe handles very well. I have had no problems touching the ground. I put 8,000 miles on it already.
I've been riding for 4 years and am very comfortable on this bike. I ride it to work all the time. The weight is evenly distributed and has a low center of gravity.
I have leaned far enough in corners to nip the floorboards on both sides, but no problem.
